I love when couples decide to elope to Mexico City, especially when their day is planned which such beautiful city locations like this one.
Alex and Jason are originally from New York and moved to Detroit where Alex is an interiors designer, this quickly became clear through her attention to detail and high level of taste. The pair decided to elope to Mexico City because they felt it should be a celebration for just them and this was a place that they both loved.
To get ready, they chose an AirB&B with a beautiful courtyard space, plenty of clean lines and gorgeous interior details. The ceremony took place at Sobremesa, this was chosen for it’s textures and central location in Roma Norte.
After, the two of them celebrated with a few cute cocktails at Meroma where the owner also treated them to a glass of champagne on the house and they finally ended the day with dinner at Rosetta.
Alex was very thoughtful about her details, the pearl veil was one of her favourite touches.
This incredible installation by Floweriize literally took our breath away when we walked into the ceremony space.
Since it was just the two of them they really got to splurge on their flowers and accessories, including 2 outfits for the wedding day. The results were beautiful!
Since the elopement was in November the sun set very early and we were able to arrange the timeline to capture the beautiful and golden light through the trees of the parks in the city.
