Stylish Bridal Editorial with Los Angeles Wedding Photographer

Natasha and Vin got married in San Fransisco City Hall and contacted me shortly after to capture more photos of the two of them in an editorial-style shoot. This bridal editorial was more than just a stylish shoot though, they had told me that they loved the way I capture genuine emotions and authentic feelings so of course, that was something that I wanted to also carry through in these fashion-focused images.

The whole afternoon was such a fun and unique experience where we could really take the time to capture their fabulous outfits as well as create memorable photos of the two of them. We explored beautiful locations in Los Angeles and shot photos that not only expressed their love for each other but also showed off their style!

The moment we stepped into this private residence in Silverlake, Los Angeles, we knew that it was the perfect spot for the first part of this bridal editorial. With its lush tropical vibe and abundance of plants, palmas and bougainvillea, it provided the perfect backdrop for the photos we had envisioned.

One of my favorite parts of the day was taking the Mercedes around. My photos are usually circumstantial and based on what we find and where we’re at so it was great to drive around and not only capture them in the car but also stop anywhere that was particularly beautiful or had gorgeous light!

Once we had taken the car to Malibu, we knew that the view from Saddle Peak House would be incredible. Plus the house itself was so modern and luxurious which allowed me to get creative with the location.

Finding a way to capture the essence of a space and the people in it is an art form. When I photograph, I strive to create images that reflect the architecture of the place and echo it with how people are posing. This approach allows me to create images that are more meaningful and reflective of where we are and help to tell more of a story through my photography by capturing the connection between the people and their environment.

On an engagement or portrait shoot like this, it’s important that you guys just feel like you’re are on a date and not just posing for pictures. This allows us to be more relaxed and enjoy the experience, resulting in photos that truly reflect your love for each other. We finished the session with a fun champagne tower and a little cake that they had brought and it really ended the experience on such a cute note!
