Diane’s preference has always leaned towards effortless beauty over flashy, heavily made-up styles, and she wanted the focus to be on capturing candid moments rather than stiff smiles and posed shots, which happens to be my specialty.

Diane and Jeffrey’s love story began when they crossed paths through mutual friends one autumn. For Jeffrey, it was an instant connection, his heart certain from that very first meeting. Diane, on the other hand, needed a bit more time to let her heart open to him. Yet, with Jeffrey’s unwavering devotion and his kind, nurturing nature, he eventually won her over. Surprisingly, after just four months of officially dating, they both knew they were meant to spend their lives together. Their love story is a testament to the power of persistence and the warmth of genuine love.

It was truly a heartwarming vineyard wedding. Diane and Jeffrey had this beautifully understated and genuine way of expressing their love. My goal is always to capture people’s love stories in a way that truly reflects their authentic connection. Of course, I offer guidance during the photo session, but I never push for anything that doesn’t feel natural or true to them. This is where an engagement session can be particularly helpful! It gives us a chance to learn how we work best together so that the wedding day is totally stress-free.

It was a really small and close-knit gathering with just their families at the Carneros Resort and Spa – a venue surrounded by rolling vineyards in Napa. The bride had a stunning dress, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking, with plenty of heartwarming moments all around. What made it even more special was that the bride’s sister and brother-in-law performed a song for their first dance, and their mothers put together the beautiful flower arrangements for the table.
