What to Wear
When you’re deciding what to wear, choose something that you can really move in! For me, a lot of the magic happens in the in-between moments, when we’re simply walking around being playful. Obviously, style is important, but choose shoes you can keep on all day and not need to change in and out of. My style really leans into those candid moments between the two of you as a couple and we don’t want to miss that because you’re changing your shoes!
I loved Kim’s minimal black dress that’s flowy and had subtle details around her waist and ankles. And Josh’s look complimented Kim’s dress so well with the blue and blue paired with black dress shoes. Not too much, not too simple. Just classic.
Choose a Location that is Meaningful to You
One thing I’ve discovered to be especially remarkable about this city is the beauty that lies just around the corner. The engagement photo sessions I’ve cherished most in NYC involve leisurely strolls through the couple’s neighborhood, engaging in their typical activities. There’s a genuine timelessness in capturing these everyday moments, to be cherished for the rest of their life.
