Keeping your engagement session close to home can be a beautiful way to pay homage to the relationship you have built there. Life changes so quickly and it can be so meaningful to keep the memories of this moment in your life in photo.
With this in mind, for Kim + Josh’s shoot, we started at their frequented local bar for some, walked around their neighborhood, and even took some photos in their home. The pace was relaxed and comfortable, and it just felt like a casual, easy date between the two of them.

When you’re deciding what to wear, choose something that you can really move in! For me, a lot of the magic happens in the in-between moments, when we’re simply walking around being playful. Obviously, style is important, but choose shoes you can keep on all day and not need to change in and out of. My style really leans into those candid moments between the two of you as a couple and we don’t want to miss that because you’re changing your shoes!
