A Tulum elopement is never a bad idea and Jenna and Adam’s was one of my favorite occasions to photograph there. These two are Brooklyn based but decided to first elope in Tulum, Mexico and then celebrate their marriage with friends and family with a party back in Brooklyn.
They wanted something very special and intimate. Something that was really simple and really just about their bond, a marriage in paradise.
Jenna and Adam thoughtfully chose a location that had all of the lush foliage and beach vibes you’d expect in Tulum as well as the quirky and unique features of hotel Casa Malca.
These two are so very in love with each other – it was so beautiful to watch. They got ready together, which is something you don’t see often in the wedding world, and it turned out to be such an intimate way to start their wedding day. The moment of him zipping up her dress was one of the sweetest moments I’ve ever witnessed.
Jenna is total a ball of fun and the two of them together are spontaneous, hilarious, and welcoming – They even celebrated on the beach with some random hotel guests who jumped in on the fun and shared their bottle of champagne!
They exchanged vows on the beach, and it was emotional for everyone involved!
A few hotel guests celebrated with them after their vows – moments like this are what makes wedding photography so spontaneous and fun
Of course, we had to ride bikes in classic Tulum style and it was honestly the perfect finish to a perfect Tulum elopement.
