La Valise: A Romantic Elopement Hotel in Mexico City
Christina and David chose to stay at La Valise, an awesome hotel located in the heart of Roma, one of Mexico City’s most charming neighborhoods. Roma Norte is one of my favorites for engagement sessions! (See another favorite, here!). This space creates a cozy and romantic atmosphere perfect for an elopement.
Christina and David decided to hold their elopement ceremony on the hotel’s balcony. Surrounded by treetops, it was the perfect blend of a short and meaningful ceremony.

The key to being photographed well is to let go, have fun, and not overthink things. Christina and David embraced this philosophy perfectly. They immersed themselves in the moment, enjoying each other’s company and the beauty of the city. Their joy and spontaneity shine through in every photo.
After their ceremony, we hit the streets of Mexico City to celebrate this newly married couple. We started in Roma, known for its bohemian vibe and beautiful streetscapes, before heading to El Centro, the historical center of Mexico City. El Centro is filled with history and character, offering endless photo opportunities with its stunning architecture and exciting atmosphere.

To wrap up their day, we ended our photo session at Tacos Orinoco. The vibrant colors of the restaurant perfectly complemented Christina’s stunning red Valentino dress. Oh, and the delicious tacos were a bonus, providing a perfect end to their adventure-filled day.
