One of my favorite things about photography is the ability to capture genuine moments in time — those unscripted, candid instances that speak volumes. Photography is magic! Recently, Erin + G visited CDMX and I had the pleasure of taking some photos of them around Roma Norte and we had a ton of fun.
Romance in Roma Norte
Our evening began at Pigeon, a favorite restaurant of mine, where they eased into the night with a couple of drinks. It’s a good way to settle any initial nerves and get to know each other a little better before fully jumping into the photos.
Roma Norte isn’t just a neighborhood; it’s a vibe—a mix of colors, charming streets, and an energy that’s contagious. Golden hour at Plaza Rio de Janeiro is pure magic, and the historic buildings that line the streets are works of art. I often look for unique colors and textures, or an interesting way light falls on a scene, and Roma never fails.

The last stop of the evening was our visit to Casa Prunes, an art-deco bar with a gorgeous interior. Just look at that staircase! With a final cocktail, we captured some fun shots, playing with flash photos and the intimate setting of the bar’s upstairs cigar bar.
